Islamabad is the capital city of  Pakistan. It is located in the region of N.W.F.P and covers an area of 1,165.5 km sq (450 mi sq.) Islamabad has a humid subtropical climate.

Faisal Mosque is located in Pakistan ,the largest mosque in South Asia and the fourth largest mosque in the world.

There are many tourist spots like Lok Virsa Museum, Golra Railways Heritage Museum, National Art Gallery, Daman-e-Koh, Shakarparian, National Monument, Islamabad zoo, Blue Area etc.
There are many spots for rock climbing in Margalla Hills.

Islamabad has one of the highest literacy rates in Pakistan. There are 16 recognized universities in Islamabad.
